Who Are You?

This was a great idea ! I look forward to reading this board daily and occassionally post. I am an accountant with the state of Alaska. I've been managing in "majors " Little League for the last three years. Spend alot of time reading books and watching video's on baseball/coaching. Was selected as a coach on last year's all-star team. We (Juneau) won the state title for the first time since the mid seventies and played in the Western Regionals at San Bernardino California. My (then) 11 year old had the opportunity to pitch our opening game against So. Cal's, Cypress. He had a very low era throughout tournament play until that game. And even that was decent until the third... Unfortunately we don't have a fall or winter program here, gets a little nippy outside from time to time. We don't have traveling teams either. I do run a weekly practice session in a gym for anyone on my regular season team who wishes to participate. I get a pretty good turn out which makes it all worth while. I hope to get another opportunity with the all star team this year and have a shot at Western Regionals again. I know it's a long shot but wowwww, talk about being in Heaven....Baseball Heaven.
