Canadian Insurance

By: Walter Kiriaka
Add to Mixx!

Yes, you are quite right Doctor and Hospital visits and some physiotherapy sessions are covered.

The Insurance that we have for players is liabilility (to cover the Leagues) and disability. eg: In hockey Aaron Moser was checked into the Boards and is unable to walk and his Hockey Career that would have paid for a Scholarship or perhaps make it into the NHL is over, that's when the Insurance helps to cover his Nurse and special equipment and I believe a Monthly Benefit. Aaron is from Edmonton and the city had a Fundraiser for him to help cover the Cost's as well.
