Why Little League?

I don't have as much experience as the previous postings regarding your question but; I think LL is a good program for the younger rec players because of it's strict participation rules. As far as the older players 11 and up, I think, and have read, that AAU or Pony is a better association to be under. I'm not sure if you can have LL and Pony at the same park. Also, I think you have to be careful how you structure you association under LL due to the way they can claim any funds raised or equipment purchase under the LL charter if you were to pull out of LL at a later date. Maybe someone can further clarify this, because this is what I've been told. I never confirmed it with a LL operating manual.
