Re: Our coach quit!!!!!
By: Suzie
As far as why we were having problems with our coach, was because she was asking us to do way too much. I live over here in Washington State, and here cheer isn't as invloved, not to say that it shouldn't be, but it just isn't. So when our first coach quit, we were used to her really laid back attitude, and basically she let the captians of the squad run things. Like the captians would set up all of the practice times over the summer, and etc. She put a lot of power with just the squad, and she didn't really dictate us. Plus, she tried to take away some our or cheers because she didn't like them, but those cheers were the ones that got our crowd yelling, and we have a really rough crowd, that would have rasied a absolute fuss if those cheers were gone! So we had a lot of comprimising to do, which is expected with a new coach. But then when school started it go to the point where we just couldn't handle it any more. When I was saying she made us cheer everyday, it wasn't even like that. We had practice on monday's after school untill 5pm, we talked the whole time about unimportant issues, and next actually practice cheering. That is our only pracitce each week. But, we have to cheer and support every sport at our school, and stay for there whole game. Plus, our coach said we have to support every club and activity at ou
