Is cheerleading a sport? Ever heard of Fitness?

Sounds like you had a very poor cheer expirence. Or maybe you're not the cheerleader type. Some people just aren't cut out to be cheerleaders, Why? Well, there has to be a drive there, a self motivation that doesn't stem from needing attention. So many girls join cheerleading to gain popularity, but if they have a good enough coach or squad mates, they somethimes end up learning a lot more than how to look cute in a short skirt. I am a coach who has about 13 years of cheer, dance, choreography, and performance expirence. The sqaud I coach learns about self-esteem, fitness, eating, coordination, and sportsmanship. As well as the game of football(a very popular game around here). They also learn how to maintain a positive attitude, and strong work ethics, which sounds like those are some areas yuor squad needed to foucus on. "You only get out what you give", ever heard that before?
