HELP! Son wants to quit

Thank you for letting me know what was happening. I apologize if I stuck my nose too far into your business. Our culture and the impact it has on our priceless children compelled me to do so.

I compliment your fathering skills. Maintaining open lines of communication with adolescent children is critical. I will remember your "dinner at McDonald's" method when the tough times come (as I know they will) with my son and daughter.

I cherish the bond between "Football People"! I just completed Stephen Ambrose's excellent WWII book "Citizen Soldiers". The bonds formed by soldiers in combat are certainly some of the strongest human relationships. The camaraderie of Football People is about as close to that as we can come in normal society.

I am proud to be a part of it, and to add both you and your son to my list of football buddies! Good luck to him at the Wisconsin Camp.
