The answer to your question is a BIG YES. The Head Coach is always responsiable for his coaching staff. That is why you choose your staff carefully. Then always be upfrount on what you expect from them. Teaching technics, values and conduct.

All of my boys are know in High School, but I have continued to coach at the pee wee level and when choosing fathers I first converse and feel them out on their views on football, teaching and attitude. Then attempt to select the ones who seem to what to coach and teach Football and not just their own son and are not keyed on WIN WIN WIN. We are in the business of Teaching Football, sportsmanship, commitment and The TEAM concept. If we accomplish those winning will take care of itself.

I take great pride in my coaching and expext the same from the staff. Anger and BAD language has no place with the young players. They will get a bellyfull of all that when they get to high school and beyond.
The players will develope there view on football behavior based on US. So lets be the possiative role models they need.
