FORMATION SUGGESTIONS

Hey coach,
i went back and re-read a bit of Jack Reed's book on youth football-defense.....i know he's very knowledgeable, but hes on a whole another planet from us.....he has 7(?) coaches PER team?.....we have 8 TOTAL for the WHOLE league!!!! (and only 24 kids on his team) But, he also says, hes NEVER seen anyone kick a field goal in youth football!!!....but, all that aside...i DO have a ??? for you, and the other coaches...His diagrams show the off. line with 1yd. splits...thats what i had when i played semipro...i tried to modify that my first year coaching as an assistant with the Hawkeyes....my head coach laughed at me...and i found out why....cant have ANY splits in our league, everyone just shoots the gaps....there is no lining head up on.....and a few yrs later, when i started running the defense, i was the same way..shoot gaps....is that how you run your defense? i'll try pulling an onside guard, next year, and cover with the fullback and see what happens.....something out of the I...
I right,fake 32, qb option right....
