HELP ME LEARN?

you misunderstand me...in ANY game ANYwhere on ANY level...you get a big strong kid running, and he will either run over, or drag half the team with him...thats a fact ive witnessed a thousand times....you get a small kid running into a big kid thats just standing there, and, yes he will move that kid backwards....but, the opposite has greater potential for injury...having a big kid plow into a littler kid, no matter how tough, still has greater potential for injury....in a game this year, our qb fumbled..one the big def linemen picked it up and started running...as fast as maple dripping from a tree...but NON of the kids could bring him down...they were all hanging on him....the whistle blew the play dead, cuz he was too big to be advancing the ball...poor tackling..yes...but the point is, had he been a fullback, with normal fullback speed, the POTENTIAL for injury would have been alot greater than if he weighed 100lbs.....trust me, most of the backs in our league ARE big and strong, AND fast (thats why they re backs) as for weight classes, sure, if you have enough kids to field extra teams, fine, we dont.... we re not in a traveling team situation where we play other teams from other cities..is it a perfect league? no, ....but we only have 4 teams...its the most fair thing we can do....to each thier own....and we DO teach the basics of GOOD blocking and tackling...dosnt mean they always do it....why make it any harder on them than is necessary? they'll be dealing with that in the next levels.......
