HELP ME LEARN?

..yeah, ok..i see your point now...thats why it was so hard for me to imagine teaching pulling, and audibles, and all that....yeah...the league used to be 5th/6th, and 7th/8th....then they dropped the 5th, and went with 6th/7th, and made the 8th grade a traveling team....and thats what we had last year...there were only about 8 6th graders, and the rest were 7th graders, most of which had played the year before, and you see what difference it made...this year they decided to bring back the 5th graders, cuz there were enough players, they thought...(only about 25 per team, 4 teams)..they wanted to get more kids involved....plus, the fact i only had 8 "veterans" coming back...the rest were all very green....the team that won it this year was mostly 7th graders...and they beat up on us pretty good.......we improved alot from the beginning of the season, if you can believe that...but, i just couldnt get them over the hump offensively...and thats my fault...i lost confidence in our inside running game...i should have used it more, and we would have been better off......as for all those things we work on everyday....we would anyway...but, when you have brand new 5th graders, just making sure they know that long pad on the hip pads goes in the BACK!!! hahah...their attention span is only seconds long.....and, by the way, we WERE penalized in a game, cuz the qb forgot to put his mouthpiece back in after he called the play in the huddle, and the team we played in the playoff had the same thing happen...and thats after 9 weeks of practice...so, believe me, i dont make this stuff up..hahah (ps=its a 5yd penalty on TOP of the play...we lost yardage on the play, and had 5 more tacked on, and ended up with 2nd and 1/4 mile for a first, and almost made it)
