playing time

Coach,
No, I disagree with you. I don't think this type of "football enviornment" will qualify anyone a statue coaching youth. Secondly, winning is not the emphasis of a successful program. It is a byproduct of the many things I stated in my previous posts. We have had 0-fer teams who loved practices because they knew that their triumphs were
just ahead. They also hated to see the season end. By the way, we start practice Aug. 1st, play first game Labor Day Weekend, we go 11 games/weeks, play-offs,
championships, all-star game, equipment turn-in and awards banquet in January.
Because some of these kids do not wrestle,
play basketball, swim, etc., they would love to keep going. I hope that coaches out there would instill the love for the greatest game ever in everyone of their players,
as we try to do. If this is not being accomplished I would highly question HOW MUCH FUN your players are really having. Kids who are truely having fun can't get enough of practices. Unless the practices, of course, are NOT FUN!!!
