playing time

im sorry, man, i dont mean to sound so synical...in a perfect world, we d all be undefeated, and the college scouts would be drooling over our programs, and we d make a killing writing books, and all be next to amos alonzo stagg in the hall of fame, and you'd would be good looking...unfortunately, its not, we're not, and you're not....some years you have great kids that are easy to coach, and some years you have kids that forgot to take their riddlin....and everything in between...i LOVE the game ,....played it all my life...and im very intense about it (im intense anyway.haha) and i cant wait to get to practice..and im always drawing up plays and thinking about who should play where, and what drills we can use, and all that...then the kids show up all happy and want to throw the football and run around before practice and then practice starts, and you get, coach, i forgot my ear pads, coach i wont be at the game saturday, we re going camping, coach can i play qb? coach i forgot my inhaler, do i still have to run laps? coach johnny and davey wont be at practice, they got suspended for fighting, coach i left my hip pads at my dads house, and i wont see him this week....coach i lost another mouth piece...coach why is my helmet so loose, coach i have to watch the brother and sister on tuesdays while my mom is at work, i cant make it to practice...coach i can throw the ball, see?......and the reality of life set in...we do everything we can do for them...we want them to be successful, and yes win...cuz, i sure know from personal experience that the only thing that losing teaches you, is that, losing SUCKS!!!!
