Girls....

i dont think its ever a matter of PUTTING them on a boys team, i think its a matter of availibility...if theres no girls teams, or leagues, theres not much else they can do...and as coaches, we have no recourse....and, like i said, at the youth level, its not THAT big a deal (except for restrooms - we dont use lockerrooms, they just show up to the games in uniform)...but, when they hit 12-13, and all the hormones start kicking in, and all the chemical and physical differences start taking over, etc etc, then thats not the ideal situation..and, again, it has nothing to do with ability, or talent...my oldest daughter was just as tough, and fast...and played alot of sports, exelled in gymnastics and baseball till she blew up a shoulder and a knee....and her young sister is
looking like shes gonna be the same way...and as a father, i WANT them to have the availability to compete as much as they want, at every level, including pro...but, not on a boys team....grrrrrrrr...haahaha
