New Mexico s Def

Installed it last night - and what a difference in field coverage we now have. I made an adjustment to near far responsibility and in a scrimmage every play to the flat was really crunched. Inside runs we caused fumbles seems like the two deeper backers - we call them wolf and thunder - the two who have those spots are really good hitters - are really getting clean shots on the ball carriers. The middle backer we call him blast ( my son) suddenly has found his legs, found out mom is feeding him dinner right before practice hah! - Why do moms think a 10 yr old kid needs a four course meal before an athletic activity??? My seasoning opening comments were what we eat on Monday will give us fuel for Wednesday practice not the mac and cheese and 16oz of milk at 4:00 before a 5:00 pm practice - my wife oh man.
Defensively if we become too open to an inside game I will line up two of my backers on los for a few downs. Seems like my guys love the flexibility more than anything else - I guess it is being 10 and playing defense- my dc was reluctant to come onboard but after he saw the speed of the attack we came onboard with abandon. thanks for the link to GMC web site made things really easy to teach.
